Process

The Doodle Drawings came from the desire of developing a particular method of drawing at the studio. As an industrial designer, I am fascinated by machines and their production potential. Therefore in order to create specific drawings , we managed to hack the cnc (computer numeric control) machine of our workshop.

The result of this unique process is a clear line with a numeric control combined with craft pens and inks. The generated drawing is the result of a poetic tooling path.

The machine interprets certain lines but also makes various unpredictable ones; similar to an absent-minded drawing made while scribbling on a phone call.
